The Rest Is History...

Since today was not a good day to swim or play outside, we decided to take the kids to the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum in Canyon. We recently watched the movie, "Night At The Museum", and the kids were crazy about it! They were rip roarin' ready to see if it had a T-Rex that comes to life. LOL

Side Note: If you haven't watched the above movie, I HIGHLY recommend it! It's great for all ages too!

Anyway, we all had a great time. Caroline was even good for the entire 2 hour ordeal. We took our time and looked at all of the exhibits, and I saw some that I hadn't seen before. All in all, it was fun way to spend a gloomy day! :)

John's thankful the firefighter gear has changed over time...

And he's also glad that the ambulances have changed a bit!

I thought Dad had a lot of guns! This is only 1/4 of the display!

Me and the kiddos in front of some old bones :)

Here is the T-Rex that we all were waiting to see...fortunately it stayed put and didn't chase us

And this is why we live in this time period and not in the prairie days...

Chillin' in the cabin's kitchen

Some really cool saddles, and Caroline having fun right along with sis and bro

Looks like you had a great time. We'll have to check out that movie. I'm sure the girls will love it.
