Transition

This week, we decided that it was time for Caroline to transition to a toddler bed. Thankfully her crib is a 3-1...it can be changed into a toddler bed very easily. I had already ordered a handmade bedding set for her a few months ago with the idea that she would not be needing the crib set anymore. We finally get to use it now.

Isn't it adorable?!? I just love the colors! It was made by Punkey Monkey at http://www.etsy.com/.
The link to her auction for toddler bedding sets is: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=14355465.
I got to pick the fabric, and I picked something very out of the ordinary. She was fast at finding it and did a great job. Seriously, I couldn't have made such a nice set for that price. The fabric I chose was expensive, but she didn't charge me any extra. I highly recommend her!

Caroline is actually doing a phenomenal job of staying in it at naptime/bedtime. We put a baby gate up in her doorway at night, just in case she decides to get up and peek out. That way we are assured she will not wander the halls and have an accidental trip down the stairs.

I took down all of her decor and boxed it up along with the crib set. That reminds me: if any of you know someone who would be interested in a pink toile crib set with a ton of accompanying decor, please let me know. :)

We are also really working on the potty training thing again. She is doing so well--except when we go places. I still put her in pull-ups for the gym, MDO, and church, and she seems to think that it's okay to tee tee in them. I think they are too much like diapers---but then again, what do I do? Just put her in panties and hope for the best while I'm not right there to take her to the potty? Jeez, I wish I had all the answers. I don't remember what we did with Caitlin, so that's not of any help. Hmmm....
