Feelin' The Burn

Ok, ok....so I have a new workout plan. It involves this torture device:

HAHA Not really. It's not torture. CLOSE, but not that bad. This, my friend, is a kettlebell. Quite the fun workout I'm here to tell you! John did a week's worth of kettlebell training with the trainer of the guards out at Pantex. He said he had never been so sore--but in a good way--in all of his life. That surprised me, being as he bench presses 285lbs and is not usually sore. These little kettlebells don't weigh all that much (mine is a 15lb and his is a 45lb), but they certainly work it in all the right places. What I like about these exercises is you can do them at home or at the gym. We have a workout video to go along with it, and I really had a good time. It was challenging and made the muscles burn, but it was a GOOD burn. :)
Sooooooooo.....if you are looking for something new to try or just a routine to get into, go to Academy and buy a Kettlebell. You'll be so glad you did!
