An Amazing Gift

My dad is the best--let's just throw that out there! :)
Today, he gave me something that is by far the best gift I've ever received.

Isn't it beautiful?? Ok, there's a story behind this mother's ring:
It belonged to my granny (his mother). She had 5 children, so naturally she needed 5 stones in her mother's ring. After she passed away, my parents got the ring and have held on to it until now. My dad went and had my childrens' birthstones, as well as mine and John's, put in the ring. Now it belongs to me! I see it as an honor to wear something so amazing.

Thank you SO MUCH Dad---it's truly beautiful, and I am very excited to be able to wear it! :)
