Eggs & Bruises
As most of you know, Caroline fell and got a gross looking bruise on her little cheek--no pics obviously because I am still horrified at how she looks. That said all in love of course. :) Anyway, we went to a local Chinese restaurant today for lunch and the sweet waitress--who was an older Asian woman--saw Caroline's face and had a suggestion. She said that in her culture, they use boiled eggs to reduce swelling and bruises. Her instructions were to boil and egg, remove the shell, and then apply the egg to Caroline's bruise for 2-3 minutes at a time while it's still very warm. She said that bruises will usually disappear in about 3 days versus a week or more. Also it speeds the healing and reduces the swelling--which would be a good thing since my 19 month old looks like she's dipping tobacco. Haha Anyway, I might try it this evening and see what happens. Don't hold your breath--I know I'm not! :)

Bless her heart! You'll have to tell us how it works.
Can't wait to see the results. But I will have to say, Caroline is still as cute as can be with chipmunk cheeks!
Poor Caroline. I know it has to hurt! I am anxious to know if the egg thing works. Let me know!
