What A Game!
Last night, my dad and I went to a Dillas game while John stayed at home with the kids--sort of a late Father's Day thing since most of our family had the stomach bug on that Sunday. Anyway, it has been over 10 years (I think) since I have been to see the Dillas, and last night was a blast! The game was super exciting--at one point the benches emptied and there was a small fight. I ate my weight in ballgame food (wahoo!) and it sprinkled on us several times as a storm passed by. Really, I had forgotten just how much fun a ballgame can be. Of course when the teams get grouchy with each other and start picking fights, you can't help but stay until the very end. The Dillas won 17 to 7! Thanks to Dad for taking me and hanging out with me. Father/daughter time is the best! My dad and I don't get to do it as much now because of kids but I treasure the times I do! I am so glad you had a good time.
