Great Strides Walk
As I had blogged about before, we joined the team of John's co-worker,David, for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides 2008 Walk. We, along with several of the families from the fire department walked yesterday and had a great time! The wonderful thing was that the walk raised over $26,000 for cystic fibrosis research. We were called "Team Lance"--named after David's 11 year old son that has CF. He is an adorable little boy, and their family is so sweet. Lance's mom is Janice, the woman that took our family photos recently (just to jog your memory). Anyway, I snapped a few fun pics as usual, so I thought I'd share them. CF is such an interesting thing to me--interesting because I studied it back in Respiratory Therapy School. Again, if you want to know more about it, visit the blog called Confessions of a CF Husband that is under "Blogs I Read."

It's amazing how these kids can touch, shape, and mold your life just by being themselves! I bet you guys had a blast. Look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
