It's Been Scheduled

After much waiting, debating, praying, and talking, John and I decided to go ahead and schedule an appointment with the ENT to have Christian's tonsils and adenoids removed. We did what our pediatrician asked us to do--we tried him on the 2 medications, and it hasn't been working very well. His tonsils are still huge. Yesterday, we discovered that he now has some blisters on them, so that was the deciding factor.
The surgery will be November 6th (next Thursday) sometime around 9am. When we go in for pre-op stuff next Wednesday, they will give us more details and an exact time. I'm not a bit worried about this, just anxious. I guess I'm ready for this to all be over so we can concentrate on more fun things. :)

On another note:
We didn't get feedback yet on the house showing last week. Our contract with the realtor is up this Friday, and I think we'll just either completely take it off the market or make it For Sale By Owner through the holidays. At least that way we can control who comes and looks when we have holiday things going on.

More later.

We are going to pray that God is with Christian the entire time through his surgery. I hate that he is having to do this, but also know that the outcome can be so wonderful.
About the house....I was soooo hoping that these people were "the ones", but as frustrating as it is to wait we know that God has an exact plan for you guys. Ya'll are awesome!
Please know that we will do whatever you need to help when Christian has his surgery...Love you all!

try not to worry too much about the surgery...kids are amazing when it comes to sugery and this surgery really is so easy...take it from a pediatric nurse, they typically do VERY well! I've even taken care of a kiddo that ate chicken nuggets (against dr's orders) an hour after surgery! We will keep you in our prayers.

We love you guys and let me know what help I can be next week! :) I would be more than happy to watch Caroline if needed! I can't wait to see the progress that Christian makes after this is behind him. We love you guys.

Christian will feel so much better. I know it's tough, but things will improve drastically when you get this over with. Let me know if I can help in any way. A few more days and Christian and I could have been roomates at the hospital. Ha ha. Talk to you soon!!!

Ditto to what Apryl said. Kids are so much more resilient than us old people. He will do great. I will be praying for all of you that day. Sorry the house stuff didn't go like you wanted. I'm sure it will though.
