Heaven's Menu

I really hope God takes menu requests for heaven. After all, if it's "to die for good" here, why not have it there too? If He was to ever take requests, here are mine:

1. two big fluffy pieces of 9 grain deli-style bread packed with avacado, shaved turkey breast, and 2 slices of cheese
2. strawberry cheesecake jell-o
3. fat honey wheat pretzel sticks dipped in vanilla icing
4. root beer flowing like a river

It's fun to dream, isn't it? :)

Honestly, I am not for sure. I know that we only have until Sunday to ask for things to be fixed, but if I remember correctly, our option period ends on June 29 and we are closing July 3. And that reading about that sandwich makes me really hungry!

I don't know what kinds of veggies you guys like or eat, but this is an easy recipie that is something just different enough that it keeps me from getting bored. (Billy doesn't eat carbs, so it's always an adventure trying to cook one meal that we both like.)

Bacon-5 or 6 slices
Boneless, skinless chicken breast-however much you would normally cook for a meal. (or whatever kind of chicken you want to use)
1 small onion
Mushrooms (I like portobello, but you can use whatever kind you like)
Green Beans (I have made it with fresh and frozen and they both work)

Take a pan that will be big enough to cook the entire meal in. (I use my wok). Chop the bacon into small pieces and then cook it until it is crispy. Take the bacon out and put it on a paper towel to drain. Leave enough grease in the pan to flavor the rest of the food, but not so much that it makes everything too greasy. Chop up the chicken into bite size pieces and place in wok to cook. I usually season it with some salt and pepper and sometimes a little garlic powder. Chop up the onion and place in pan with the chicken. When chicken is almost completely done and the green beans and mushrooms that are in bite size pieces. Cook until your veggies are done then add the bacon back in and serve. Billy loves this with cheese on it, I like it better without the cheese.
