Post #2 for the day (what is it with me and 2 posts a day?!?)
This cold dry weather is really wreaking havoc on my skin. It makes me dry and itchy. My scalp really suffers in the fall/winter, and I create snow of my own all over my clothes. Very irritating.
So I decided to look up home remedies for dry scalp on the internet, and I came across several articles and discussions recommending olive oil. You simply massage it into your scalp, let it soak in for a while, then shampoo it out. Today was the day to try it out.
Let's just say it's very messy, but the smell...
Olive oil has such a distinctive smell, and the only way I can describe this interesting treatment is that it makes me smell Greek. Yum. We'll see if it helps the scalp--to be continued...

I have also tried the olive oil. It did not really work for me but I smelt good!
Well, I have to say that I haven't ever tried that. :) But I have used the Paul Mitchell TEA TREE conditioner and that seemed to help alot.
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement about Keely. I hope you have a great week.
Sounds like a good idea, just watch out for people with bread - if they start trying to rub it in your hair, your using too much olive oil! Ha!
