Today was Caitlin's 1st day of 4th grade, and to top it off, she's going to a new school. It was so cute last night---I was helping her organize and label her school supplies, and her little eyes lit up at the sight of it all. She was particularly impressed with the fact that she gets to use "big people scissors" this year, not the baby ones. Ahhhh, the little things....
Caitlin was sooooo ready to go today. She bounced right out of bed when I woke her up at 6:15am (yeah, that enthusiasm will last all of a 2 days) and was dressed and ready to head out by 6:45am.
I can't wait until I pick her up this afternoon. I'm sure she will be bursting with excitement--at least I hope so. She felt like such a big girl this morning--she was allowed to walk into the building by herself without me following behind her with my camera and holding her hand (not that she didn't want me there, she just felt more comfortable heading in by herself). I did, however, make her pose for the ever-annoying 1st day of school picture before we left. Ha!
