I Don't Really Mind The Drive, Except....

....the horrifying smell that's coming through the car vents in the early morning.
I have no problem driving Caitlin to the other side of town for school, but I could certainly do without the smell of cow cr*p that's almost suffocating as you get to the area around 34th and Bell. Sheesh, why should those of us who choose to live within the city limits have to breath that? Seriously, it's so thick you can see it in the air! I like it being cool enough to not have to run the a/c while driving, but it's almost not worth it. After all, it's not fresh air anymore! I don't smell it out here in Foxridge. In fact, as I type, all of the windows in my house are wide open and the gentle, sweet-smelling breeze is flowing through. What's the difference between this side of town and that side? Both days we have driven now, we've been greeted with it, and it can make a person sick to say the least.
Ok, there's my venting session for today. I really wish the smell didn't drift in like that--it seriously burns the nostrils.
