Explanation of the WINNER name....
My new bloggerland friend, Tasha, did a givaway the other day that was for 2 gift cards to 2 different digital scrapbooking sites, Shabby Shoppe and Sweet Shoppe. I decided to give it a whirl and put my name in for them, and I WON!! My gift card was to Sweet Shoppe--but what makes it even more wonderful is that I had already been eyeing a kit from there. Back when I had my blog designed, I reeeeeeally wanted this kit, but was unable to use it. Boohoo Not that I'm not crazy excited about how my blog design turned out, but it wasn't my original choice. Anywho, the 1st thing I bought was that kit--and I plan to use it for something super special soon! :) Thanks again to Tasha for the fun givaway. You're the best!
Explanation of the COOK name...
I actually baked something yesterday evening. I know, I know...gasp! Melissa cooked! haha
Don't get too excited--it wasn't anything huge and grand. In fact, it couldn't have been more simple. Christian was my big helper, and we made Malt-O Meal magic muffins. Fun to make, easy, and delicious. Above is a pic to prove that I was actually the one mixing the ingredients and using the oven. John is still in shock that I didn't burn them. By the way, I posted the recipe on our recipe blog, GREEN EGGS AND HAM--so if you want to try them yourself, go for it! They are an awesome breakfast or snack for the kiddos.

Those muffins sound good. The twins need stuff that doesn't involve milk that could sour in their little tummies while they're doing marching band. Those may be just the thing!
