Let's start with Caitlin:
She had the privilege of going to church camp this week (Mon-Fri) and had a blast. She had fun with friends, got chased by bees, and was eaten alive by mosquitos (yes, as any good mother should, I packed bug spray. I did, however, forget to tell her that you have to apply it more than just one time when you arrive...it must be put on each time you go out. Silly mom...). Caitlin has a ton of stories to tell, and she's just so darn cute when she gets excited about something. She showed me dances that she learned, and made sure that I knew about the fact that the bedroll I sent was too small, thus requiring her to borrow someone else's blanket the whole time. Sheesh.
I'm sure Caitlin has heard the story of how I went to church camp when I was her age, and how my mom forgot to pack me any underwear. I had to wash out my same pair every night....and she complains about a small bedroll?!? Whatever! haha
I was so thankful that she got to go with such loving and caring counselors (thanks to Eric, Randall, and Teresa!). She really did have fun, dispite the fear of the bees. Apparently she had a huge drama session (freak out really) when the bees swarmed around her. Man, I have NO CLUE where my child would get drama like that....no one in this household has any tendency toward drama. :)
Now, Caitlin is safely at home with her annoying little brother and sister, complaining about how they get on her nerves and she can't wait for school to start. Right there with ya sister!
Speaking of the littlest Haskell---Caroline is well on her way to being pottytrained. We got her a cool little pink potty (as seen on Jon & Kate Plus 8) and she is crazy about it.

Grandma C and Grandpa Haskell (John's parents) are settling in this week after moving back from Colorado. We are so glad to have them back here in Amarillo with us!
Oh yes---if you get a chance to go to the Polk Street Block Party (Saturday the 16th), be on the lookout for our praise team from Plum Creek Fellowship--the team that I play violin with. I won't be performing, but there are several talented guys that will be there, including the worship leader. I've heard they do a bang up job of playing and can't wait to go hear them!
Ok, that's it for now. Have a great week and enjoy the rest of the summer while you still can!

I love that potty! Cannon went #2 this morning in the potty!!! We did a super cool dance and he was smiling from ear to ear. I hope Caroline gets it soon. Also thanks for the use of the bedroll. I'm sure it will be perfect for Gracelyn! :)
